Greetings Link Sisters,

It is with humility that I thank you for entrusting me with the leadership of the Central Area of The Links, Incorporated.  The next two years will take us on a journey with unparalleled challenges that will require solutions appropriate for twenty-first century issues.  Together we will maneuver a successful path to E³: Excellence, Elegance and Ethics. 

The Central Area Leadership Team will administer programs and operations that will implement these three pillars for success:

EXCELLENCE:  Focus on the quality of all internal and external aspects of work that members perform in the Central Area of The Links, Incorporated. 

ELEGANCE: Provide service with grace and sophistication demonstrating best practices and serving as role models particularly to the children and youth we serve throughout the communities in the Heart of Linkdom.

ETHICS: Implement the principles and values of The Links, Incorporated as the moral compass to guide our actions that reflect positively on individual members and the organization.

My twenty-two years as a member of The Links, Incorporated prepares me to accept with confidence the leadership of the Central Area.  I understand that you, my Sisters, are the catalyst that ignites the friendship fuel which creates the capacity for our organization to deliver quality service and impact the communities that we serve.  I will be calling on you to assist me and the Central Area Leadership Team during the next two years to meet the new opportunities that await us as we move into the second decade of the twenty-first century.

I request your support and commitment to friendship and service in your chapters and communities as we are Linked in Friendship, Connected in Service.  I will build upon our past, utilize our assets and establish a strong commitment to preserving our legacy.  Working together, with God’s blessings, we will change conditions and make significant differences in the lives of those we serve.
